The Vertex Companies, LLC is seeking a Senior Forensic Engineer to expand our testifying expert team. You will lead civil case support, including construction defect matters, and guide a team of consultants toward strategic outcomes.

You will manage business development in the practice, supervise staff, and contribute to client satisfaction and employee engagement, while modeling our core values. This role requires leadership and expertise across forensics, litigation support, and project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in engineering with PE license; multiple states preferred.
• 15+ years related experience, or 12+ years with a Master's, plus 7+ years in leadership.
• Deposition and testimony experience required.
• Proven track record in client relations and staff development.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development and strategic planning for the practice area.
• Oversee and develop a team of consultants and support hiring and career growth.
• Support MD in meeting annual budget and utilization targets.
• Ensure high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction.
• Establish cross-functional collaboration and risk/issue management.
• Travel as necessary to support client needs and engagement success.
