The Vertex Companies LLC is seeking a Senior Forensic Engineer to expand our testifying expert team and support civil cases including construction defect litigation matters. This role involves leadership of consultants, mentoring staff, and contributing to business development and client satisfaction across the practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 15 years of related experience, or Master’s degree with 12 years, plus 7+ years in a leadership role.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred across multiple states.
• Previous deposition and testimony experience required.
• Proven track record of customer relationship management and staff development.

Responsibilities

• Support assigned Managing Director in meeting practice area budgets and revenue goals.
• Lead business development, client relations, and cross-sell other service areas.
• Delegate and oversee tasks, ensuring high-quality deliverables and timely completion.
• Build cross-functional teams and manage projects/contracts with leadership alignment.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and internal policies.
