Job summary

The Vertex Companies, LLC is seeking a Senior Forensic Engineer to expand our testifying expert team. This role leads strategic oversight of civil cases, including construction defect litigation, while strengthening client relationships and team development.

The Director will manage consultants, influence hiring and career growth, and align practice performance with company values—learning, urgency, value, and collaboration.

Qualifications

• PE license required, multiple states preferred.
• Deposition and testimony experience required.
• Proven track record in customer relationship management and staff development.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Support assigned Managing Director in meeting annual budget and revenue goals.
• Develop new accounts and retain/expand engagements within the practice area.
• Delegate and supervise work to assigned staff to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Monitor utilization, AR, and discretionary spend; adjust as needed.
• Lead cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals and profitability.
