Job summary

Pike Corporation in Florida is seeking a working foreman with proven leadership to supervise vegetation management crews, enforce safety rules, schedule tasks, and maintain essential records. You will guide climbers, coordinate work orders, and ensure quality and timely project completion.

The ideal candidate reads and speaks English, with Spanish as a plus, holds a valid driver’s license (CDL preferred), can travel on short notice, lift 50 lbs, and demonstrate excellent communication and safety

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recent foreman or crew lead experience.
• Able to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Bilingual (Spanish / English) a plus.
• Valid driver's license; CDL preferred.
• Able to travel long distances on short notice.
• Able to lift in excess of 50 lbs.
• Must be safety conscious and trustworthy.
• Must have excellent communication and people skills.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safe working practices per company policies.
• Schedule crews and assign their work.
• Maintain written and computer records.
• Lead, train, and coach team members on pruning techniques.
• Coordinate and inspect crew work.
• Interface with customers to explain project details.
• Join storm restoration efforts when needed.
• Ensure crew adherence to job plans and safety rules.
• Maintain company vehicles and equipment.
