Job summary

Autodesk is seeking a senior forecasting analyst to support the Global Sales leader with insights on forecast, pipeline and performance. You will explain weekly numbers, risks, and actions, working with the operations partner and Revenue Operations to align targets and reporting.

The role operates in a remote US setting within a matrixed sales organization, delivering analysis for quarterly reviews and deal reviews across geography, product, and market routes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in sales forecasting, pipeline analytics or revenue operations
• Experience forecasting for a large sales organization and presenting insights to senior leaders
• Strong SQL and advanced reporting, with real-time data analysis
• Deep working knowledge of Salesforce pipeline data
• Ability to present findings to senior sales leaders, even when counter to expectations
• Comfort working in a matrixed structure with operations and finance partners

Responsibilities

• Provide analysis behind the weekly Global Sales forecast, including risks and upside
• Prepare the forecast for calls and executive reviews with cadence and identified risks
• Explain week-over-week movement by pipeline factors and deal changes
• Analyze pipeline health: coverage, stage conversion, velocity and slippage
• Identify risks early with evidence and recommended responses
• Measure forecast accuracy and bias for the business area
• Run deep dives by geography, segment, product and route to market
• Provide insights for quarterly business reviews and deal reviews with operations
• Work with central team to share analyses across four sales segments
