Job summary

UCI Health in Irvine is seeking a Senior Food Service Associate to support meal assembly, service and delivery, catering, dishwashing, sanitation and safety across kitchen, cafeteria, and patient services. You will contribute to efficient food operations and training of new Food Service Workers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years prior skilled food preparation/service experience.
• Knowledge and practice of kitchen sanitary control techniques.
• Ability to work variable shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions in English.
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System.

Responsibilities

• Provide meal assembly, service and delivery, and catering.
• Perform dishwashing, sanitation and safety tasks to meet food-handling standards.
• Assist in training of new Food Service Workers.
