Job summary

UCI Health in Irvine, CA seeks a Senior Food Service Associate to join the kitchen, cafeteria, dishroom and patient services teams. You will perform meal assembly, service and delivery, catering, dishwashing, sanitation and safety, and assist in training new Food Service Workers.

The role requires strong food preparation experience and the ability to work varied shifts across the hospital system. Must have at least 3 years of skilled food preparation/service experience and knowledge of kitchen

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years prior skilled food preparation/service experience.
• Knowledge and practice of kitchen sanitary control techniques.
• Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions in English.
• Ability to work variable shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System.
