Job summary

UCI Health in Irvine, CA is seeking a Senior Food Service Associate to support meal assembly, service and delivery across the kitchen, cafeteria, dishroom and patient services. You will assist in training new Food Service Workers and ensure sanitation and food safety standards are followed.

The role requires flexibility to work evenings, nights, weekends and holidays, with English literacy and strong teamwork across the health system. This is a full-time position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years prior skilled food preparation/service experience
• Knowledge and practice of kitchen sanitary control techniques
• Ability to work variable shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions in English
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
