Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a Senior Food Service Associate to support meal assembly, service and delivery, catering, dishwashing, sanitation and safety within the kitchen, cafeteria, dishroom and patient services. The role also assists in training new Food Service Workers.

Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of skilled food preparation/service experience, knowledge of kitchen sanitary control techniques, and the ability to work variable shifts; English literacy is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years prior skilled food preparation/service experience
• Knowledge and practice of kitchen sanitary control techniques
• Ability to work variable shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions in English
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
