Job summary

UCI Health in Fountain Valley is seeking a Senior Food Service Associate to support meal assembly, service and delivery in the kitchen, cafeteria, and patient services areas.

You will handle catering, dishwashing, sanitation and safety, and assist in training new Food Service Workers. The role requires at least 3 years of skilled food service experience and flexibility to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions in English.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System.
• Must possess the skill, knowledge, and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties.
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload.
• Minimum 3 years prior skilled food preparation/service experience.
• Knowledge and practice of kitchen sanitary control techniques.
• Ability to work variable shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
