International Diversified Conglomerat in New York seeks a Senior Business Development Manager to drive growth across its Food & Retail portfolio in the U.S. You will identify opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and work with senior leadership on cross‑functional initiatives to create long-term value while navigating a hybrid, Midtown environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in business development, corporate strategy, strategic planning, consulting, or a related field.
• Experience within the Food, Retail, Consumer Products, or related industries strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related discipline; MBA preferred.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate market trends, business plans, and financial/operational performance.

Responsibilities

• Identify, research, and evaluate new business opportunities within the Food and Retail sectors, including potential investments, partnerships, strategic alliances, and growth initiatives.
• Conduct comprehensive market, industry, competitive, and financial analysis to assess business opportunities and make informed recommendations.
• Support the development and execution of business development and growth strategies across the organization's Food & Retail portfolio.
• Build and maintain relationships with prospective partners, operating companies, investors, and other key stakeholders.
• Work collaboratively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to advance strategic initiatives and achieve both quantitative and qualitative objectives.
• Support business development projects from initial evaluation through execution, including: Financial analysis and investment evaluation; Operational improvement; New business launches.
• Identify opportunities for collaboration and synergies across portfolio companies and business units.
• Provide strategic insight and timely analysis regarding U.S. Food & Retail market trends, competitive developments, consumer trends, and emerging opportunities.
