Job summary

M Morrison Foerster is seeking a Senior Business Development Specialist in New York to drive a high-volume BD program. You will coordinate research, materials, tracking, and events, serving as the operational backbone for a strategic growth initiative in Food + Ag + Consumer sectors.

You will own day-to-day BD workflow, maintain marketing materials, and coordinate events and CRM activities, collaborating with cross-functional teams while delivering timely follow-through.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required with four years of relevant experience in professional services marketing; law firm experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of marketing principles, including tools, competitive intelligence, market research, and pitch/RFP responses.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate research, market mapping, and competitive intelligence and translate findings into actionable BD follow-up.
• Maintain and improve practice, industry, pitch, credentials, and marketing materials.
• Track clients, prospects, opportunities, outreach, and action items for timely follow-through.
• Coordinate events, sponsorships, partnerships, and thought leadership including pre/post-event BD activity.
• Support CRM management, mailing lists, pipeline reporting, and data tracking across the portfolio.
• Ensure consistent follow-through across initiatives so opportunities move forward.
