Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Level 4 Fluids Engineer to design, analyze, and test fluid systems for aerospace vehicles. You will develop models, perform experiments, and collaborate with multiple teams to ensure safe, repeatable spaceflight. This role emphasizes piping, cryogenic systems, and regulatory compliance.

The position requires a 4-year degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering, 10+ years of experience, and proficiency with piping tools and analysis software. U.S.

Qualifications

• Four-year aerospace or mechanical engineering degree (or similar discipline).
• 10+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience with piping systems: P&IDs, fabrication drawings, and documentation control.
• Knowledge of piping components, fittings, welding, and installation methods.
• Experience with analysis tools for piping and fluid systems (CAEPipe, AutoPipe, CEASAR, AFT Fathom/Arrow, Sinda Fluint, Simulink).
• Ability to collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and test fluid systems including pneumatic, cryogenic, thermal, and environmental control systems.
• Develop and validate models of fluid systems using relevant software tools.
• Conduct experiments and analyze data to understand system performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate fluid systems into aerospace vehicles.
• Prepare technical documentation and present findings to stakeholders.
• Ensure designs comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical input for continuous improvement.
