Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is looking for a Level II Fluids Engineer in Seattle to support the development of the New Glenn rocket by designing fluid systems. You will engage in creating and analyzing pressurized fluid systems for aerospace applications, ensuring compliance with various standards and mentoring junior engineers.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and relevant design experience, with a strong focus on collaboration and safety. The position offers a range of benefits including stock options and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of relevant design experience.
• Experience with component selection for fluid system applications.
• Demonstrated experience with hazard analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze fluid systems for aerospace applications.
• Perform trade studies and create technical drawings.
• Interface with manufacturing and other engineering disciplines.

Skills

Design and analysis of pressurized fluid systems

CAD software proficiency (e.g., ProE, NX)

Experience with tube routing

Knowledge of pressure system safety principles

Education

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
