Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Fluid Systems Engineer III to lead the design, development, manufacturing and testing of fluid systems for rocket vehicles in a rigorous, safety-focused environment.

You will engage in all design stages, including requirements, thermo-fluid modeling, layout, integration and mission support, using Creo and ANSYS with a focus on high-pressure, cryogenic hardware and GD&T standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years in engineering with complex fluid systems or similar.
• Experience with launch vehicle component design.

Responsibilities

• Design fluid component hardware meeting cost, performance and schedule constraints.
• Route complex fluid subsystems (pressurization, pneumatics, RCS).
• Develop, test, qualify hardware; own development and acceptance tests.
• Work with valves, regulators, pressure vessels and instrumentation.
