Ideal candidates hold a 4-year aerospace/mechanical engineering degree with 10+ years in a similar role, and experience with piping, P&IDs, and relevant analysis tools.

Qualifications

• Four-year aerospace or mechanical engineering degree (or similar).
• 10+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience with piping diagrams and configuration control.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and test fluid systems including pneumatic, cryogenic, thermal, and environmental control systems.
• Develop and validate models of fluid systems using relevant software tools.
• Conduct experiments and analyze data to understand system performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate fluid systems into aerospace vehicles.
• Prepare technical documentation and present findings to stakeholders.
• Ensure designs comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical input for continuous improvement.
