Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Sr. Operations integrator for New Glenn Stage 1 to own subsystem CONOPS, architecture, components, software, and integration.

You’ll guide testing, definitions, and operational timelines for the flight vehicle and work with design, manufacturing, software, and test teams to ensure seamless integration. The role requires a BS in engineering and 8+ years in mechanical or pressurized systems, with strong communication and multitasking abilities.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, or related field) or another technical field.
• 8+ years of experience with mechanical or pressurized systems.
• Experience with system engineering principles and processes.
• Knowledge of analysis, design, or integrated testing of mechanical or fluid power systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to balance several tasks concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time on-console support for integrated tests, launch and recovery operations.
• Support hardware design reviews and technical assessments.
• Serve as primary technical POC for design, test, software, operations, and refurbishment artifacts.
• Develop and maintain CONOPS documentation and vehicle operation timelines.
• Define product testing requirements and interfaces across the system.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, software, test, and operations teams for seamless integration.
• Support failure analysis and corrective action implementation.
