Job summary

Blue Origin seeks a Sr. Operations integrator on Merritt Island, FL to own subsystem CONOPS, architecture, components, software, and integrated testing for the New Glenn vehicle.

You will oversee real-time console support, test definitions, and cross-team collaboration to ensure safe, reusable spaceflight systems. The role requires a BS in engineering, 8+ years in mechanical or pressurized systems, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• B.S. in engineering or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of proven experience with mechanical or pressurized systems.
• Experience with system engineering principles and processes.
• Experience in at least one of analysis, design, or integrated testing of mechanical or fluid power systems.
• Demonstrated understanding of mechanical or fluid system principles, components, and operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-directed and capable of balancing several tasks at one time.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time on console support for integrated tests, launch and recovery operations providing essential troubleshooting support.
• Support hardware design reviews and technical assessments
• Serve as a primary technical POC for all design, test, software, operations, and refurbishment artifacts for your subsystem.
• Develop and maintain Concept of Operations (CONOPS) documentation and detailed vehicle operational timelines
• Define product testing requirements, operations lifecycle, maintenance requirements, and critical performance/requirements interfaces across the system.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, software, test, and operations teams to ensure seamless system integration
• Support failure analysis and corrective action implementation
