Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking an experienced systems engineer to support the New Glenn program. You will decompose operations, provide real-time support, and coordinate with design, test, and software teams to ensure safe, repeatable spaceflight.

Minimum qualifications include a BS in engineering and 7+ years in aerospace or large-scale systems integration, plus strong written and verbal communication. The role requires on-site work with a focus on safety and mission success.

Qualifications

• B.S. in engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, or related field) required.
• 7+ years of aerospace or large-scale system integration experience.
• Demonstrated understanding of system engineering principles and processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-directed and able to balance several tasks concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the launch vehicle, ground equipment, and personnel are ready for all phases of the mission.
• Serve as the technical point of contact for design, test, software, operations, and refurbishment artifacts.
• Decompose the sequence of operations into operational constraints, alerts, and limits.
• Provide real-time on-console support for integrated tests and launch/recovery operations.
• Assess gaps or opportunities for optimization in the operational timeline and software interactions.
