Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Fluids Technical Project Manager for the Lunar Permanence unit in Merritt Island, FL. You will coordinate schedules for fluids and propulsion design, track releases, and align with manufacturing and integration on the vehicle to meet program milestones.

The role emphasizes leadership, risk management, and clear communication with stakeholders across the program, ensuring cost, scope, and schedule alignment in a fast-paced spaceflight environment.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, Mathematics, or related disciplines.
• 4+ years of experience planning and managing projects/programs including priorities, scope, schedule, integration, and cost.
• Experience with critical path scheduling, IMS, risk management, and Cost Account Management
• Experience with Agile project management methodology and JIRA software
• Experience with P6 Primavera, MS Project, or similar scheduling software packages
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and provide imaginative and detailed solutions to complex problems
• Excellent verbal, written, and graphical communication skills
• U.S. citizen or qualified to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the schedule and priorities of design work for fluids and propulsion systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to track drawing release, manufacturing, and integration on the vehicle.
• Create project management plans and guiding artifacts.
• Present status, risks, variances, and recovery plans to program management.
• Track technical performance measures to support the development team.
