Job summary

Anduril Industries in Fort Stockton, Texas is seeking a Flight Test Engineer to lead test planning, execution, and evaluation of software/hardware for the Altius UAS platform. You will generate test plans, manage assets, and report results while coordinating with pilots, SMEs, and operations.

A bachelor’s degree and ability to obtain security clearance are required; 5–6 years of relevant experience preferred. Travel and extended hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited institution.
• Ability to quickly understand new concepts and coordinate work.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, report, and evaluate flight tests of the system (software/hardware).
• Plan test events at test sites and manage test assets (hardware, payloads, software).
• Create evaluation test plans and reports focusing on functionality and integration.
• Coordinate with pilots, SMEs, and operations and manage safety considerations.
