Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Flight Test Operator to support flight test operations for its Altius program. You will assist with planning, coordination, and execution of flight tests, building and maintaining autonomous fixed-wing aircraft, and collaborating with test engineers to enable demonstrations.

The role requires FAA Part 107, PIC experience, and willingness to travel up to 60%. You will work in a fast-paced, highly innovative environment and contribute to cutting-edge defense technology

Qualifications

• RC or PIC experience on fixed-wing aircraft.
• FAA Part 107 certificate and Part 61 ground school completion.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Familiarity with flight controllers and autopilot logic.
• Knowledge of National Airspace regulations and operating restrictions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel ~60% of the time.
• Small UAS maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with test planning, flight execution, and feedback for Test Engineering.
• Build, program, and maintain autonomous aircraft for flight.
• Support flight demonstrations and test profiles with engineering teams.
• Assist with product installations at test sites as needed.
• Support site management with maintenance and supplies.
