Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager for Avionics Product Development within the Amazon Leo program in Redmond, WA. You will own the end-to-end strategy for flight electronics, partnering with electrical, embedded software, RF, test engineering, and manufacturing teams to meet space-grade requirements and scale production for thousands of satellites.

Qualifications

5+ years of technical product or program management experience
3+ years experience leading cross-functional engineering teams in hardware and software
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end technical program strategy for flight electronics systems powering Leo satellites.
Partner with cross-functional teams to define verification and validation strategies for system performance and flight readiness.
Drive trade studies balancing performance, cost, manufacturability, and schedule across power, mass, thermal, and communication constraints.
Develop and drive program plans tracking milestones across design reviews, qualification testing, and production readiness.
Scale flight electronics from development to high-volume manufacturing and collaborate with supply chain to improve production readiness and reliability.
