Job summary

Amazon Leo in Redmond, WA seeks a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead satellite assembly, integration, and test programs. You will drive satellite-level tests from planning through execution, coordinating with multiple engineering disciplines and external partners to ensure on-time delivery.

You will develop integrated schedules, manage risks, and translate engineering concepts into executable test strategies and product introductions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 5+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience.
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.
• Experience in technical program management working directly with software engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive complex cross-functional satellite tests from concept through vehicle-level qualification, managing initiatives that span multiple engineering disciplines and directly impact Leo's constellation deployment.
• Drive the critical path for vehicle qualification, balancing technical risk with business needs across program office, production operations, and launch operations.
• Collaborate with engineers to identify blockers, escalate issues, and present data to leadership for decision making.
• Develop integrated schedules, dependencies, risks, and tradeoffs in a fast-paced, high-complexity environment to deliver qualified hardware on time.
• Apply understanding of operation concepts, system budgets, and lifecycle considerations for satellite tests and dependencies.
• Translate engineering concepts into executable hardware/software plans, including new product introductions with DFM and test systems.
• Drive cross-team alignment on ownership and delivery while adapting to changing conditions.
