Blue Origin LLC is seeking a senior Control Lead to design, analyze, and verify advanced flight control systems for next-generation vehicles. You will lead actuation control, develop models, and drive verification across simulation, hardware-in-the-loop, and flight tests.

The role requires a deep understanding of flight dynamics, control theory, and strong leadership skills within a multidisciplinary team. This is a senior-level position based in Reston, VA.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in a related technical field.
• 10+ years of experience in flight control system design/analysis.
• Experience with flap actuation control systems.
• Strong knowledge of hypersonic and transonic flight dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of flight control systems and design/analyze control laws for aerodynamic surfaces.
• Oversee models/simulations for flap actuation control systems and hardware-in-the-loop testing.
• Coordinate verification/validation through simulation and flight testing; mentor GNC engineers.
