Job summary

Qualifications

• 3 years repairing diesel powered heavy vehicles and hydraulics.
• Waste industry experience preferred.
• Management experience preferred.
• Experience with welding equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA and DOT rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance staff including training, scheduling, and overtime approvals.
• Review and approve work orders; monitor parts inventory.
• Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Perform vehicle inspections and road calls to repair vehicles.
• Train employees on SAP usage and assignments.
• Communicate status to management and operations.
• Lead cross-functional teamwork and maintain positive relationships.
