Job summary

The State Group in Louisville, Kentucky, seeks a Fleet Compliance Manager to enforce DOT and company safety standards while maintaining driver records and regulatory compliance across the fleet. You will manage telematics, driver files, inspections, audits, and collaborate with Risk Manager on investigations, driving improvements and ensuring accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DOT and driver compliance.
• Strong communication with office and field teams.
• Professionalism, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in logistics or related field preferred.
• Collaborate with Risk Manager on investigations and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety by enforcing all regulatory and company compliance requirements.
• Maintain driver compliance and confidentiality of DOT files and training records.
• Manage telematics platform and electronic logs to ensure DOT compliance.
• Coordinate safety driver system and training portal.
• Investigate vehicle accidents and near-misses with Root Cause analysis.
• Implement and monitor safety policies and training for fleet operations.
• Prepare fleet compliance reports and support audits; track corrective actions.
• Maintain records of vehicle titles, insurance, performance, and costs; track IFTA filings; inspections.
