Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• 5+ years fixed asset accounting experience or strong accounting background with fixed asset exposure.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and fixed asset accounting principles.
• Experience with ERP systems and fixed asset modules.
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Own the fixed asset accounting process from acquisition through disposal.
• Maintain and reconcile fixed asset subledgers and general ledger accounts.
• Ensure assets are properly capitalized in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
• Record depreciation, amortization, adjustments, transfers, and disposals.
• Monitor capital projects and construction-in-progress and ensure timely closeouts.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual fixed asset schedules and reports.
• Assist with capital expenditure budgeting and forecasting.
• Support audits with reconciliations and documentation.
