Jobot is seeking a Permanent Fixed Assets Accountant to join our team. The role focuses on managing the fixed asset register, depreciation, inventories, and reporting to support financial health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS, particularly for fixed asset management.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the fixed asset register with accuracy.
• Calculate and record monthly depreciation for all fixed assets.
• Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconciliations of fixed assets.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual fixed asset reports.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize asset utilization.
• Develop and implement fixed asset management policies and procedures.
• Conduct impairment reviews for intangible assets.
• Prepare audit schedules and assist auditors.
• Support budgeting with fixed asset information.
• Participate in special projects and other duties as needed.
