Job summary

Financial Additions is seeking a Fixed Assets Manager to lead accounting for capitalization, depreciation, transfers, impairments, disposals, and related reporting.

You will ensure GAAP and SOX compliance, maintain policies, support audits, and advise partners on capitalizable costs while developing the fixed asset team. This role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration across corporate and store operations to drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field with 6–10 years of progressive accounting experience, including 3–5 years of people leadership.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX controls, financial systems, and advanced Excel; Workday experience preferred.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, transfers, depreciation, impairments, disposals, reconciliations, and related reporting.
• Ensure GAAP and SOX compliance, maintain accounting policies, support audits/tax requirements, and advise business partners on capitalizable costs.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop the fixed asset accounting team while driving process improvements across corporate and store operations.
