Washington State Department of Revenue is seeking a Fiscal Analyst 3 to perform senior-level financial review and accounts payable analysis within the Purchasing & Expenditure section. The role involves ensuring accuracy of vendor and employee payments and supporting complex journal entries.

The FA3 will work on monthly accruals, interagency payments, travel card payments, and system administration for key financial tools, while training and supervising junior staff.

Competenze

• Knowledge of Washington State general accounting procedures (GAAP) and SAAM policies.
• Ability to compile, transmit, and reconcile financial data across systems.
• Experience interpreting accounting requirements for financial and non-financial audiences.

Mansioni

• Prepare monthly expenditure and Unclaimed Property accruals.
• Review payments to vendors and employees for compliance with SAAM, DOR policies, RCW, and IRS regulations.
• Ensure proper accounting procedures and controls in processing payments.
• Analyze financial transactions for monthly and year-end reporting.
• Prepare complex Journal Vouchers to adjust accounts payable errors.
• Manage interagency payments and vendor billings.
