Job summary

Energy Facility Site Evaluation Council in Washington state seeks a Fiscal Analyst 4 to serve as the accounting expert and primary advisor on budgetary decisions, supporting the agency's financial structure and contract oversight.

The FA4 coordinates with DES and other agencies, reviews and renews statewide contracts, analyzes expenditures, and develops policy and procedures to strengthen internal controls and reporting.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of advanced fiscal management experience.
• Familiarity with state policies and travel regulations.

Responsibilities

• Mentor staff and share knowledge with a broad audience.
• Review, create, monitor and renew state-wide goods and services contracts.
• Ensure that travel complies with statewide guidance and payments meet required procedures.
• Maintain records and cost allocation processes, and support accounting audits.
• Present annual fiscal reports to Executive staff and manage internal controls.
