Job summary

Total Safety is seeking a Fire Technician III to join our safety-focused team in Texas. The role provides service inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of a broad range of fire protection systems including extinguishers, life safety gear, detection and suppression equipment.

You will work in shop or field settings and train customers and junior staff. Qualified candidates will have strong knowledge of NFPA, OSHA, Coast Guard or relevant offshore requirements, a valid driver’s license, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; related associate degree preferred.
• Knowledge of NFPA, OSHA, and related safety standards.
• Ability to obtain TWIC card and pass safety tests.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform service inspections, testing, maintenance, and repair of fire equipment.
• Complete documentation and obtain customer signatures for invoicing.
• Conduct pre-job, job update, and post-job briefs.
• Train customers and junior technicians.
• Support inventory, loading, and staging of equipment.
• Travel to customer sites, including offshore projects.
