Job summary

Total Safety U.S., Inc. is seeking a Fire Technician II to join our safety-focused team in Westlake, LA.

You will perform service inspections, testing, maintenance, and repair of a broad range of fire equipment, including extinguishers, life-saving gear, and detection systems, both onshore and offshore. Responsibilities include thorough documentation for invoicing, conducting briefs, stocking and loading orders, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment while adhering to regulatory

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with at least two years of field experience in fire protection, petrochemical, oil refinery or related industry.
• Associate degree in science or technical area strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, maintain and repair fire equipment, including extinguishers and lifesaving devices.
• Complete inspection and repair documentation with customer signature for invoicing and records.
• Conduct detailed visual inspections and functional tests; report deficiencies and recommendations.
• Perform pre-job, job update and post-job briefs; ensure proper safety and compliance.
• Assist with stocking, staging, and loading equipment for delivery; maintain clean work areas.
• Operate safety equipment and test devices (gas monitors, radios, etc.) and support onshore/offshore tasks.
