Job summary

Total Safety U.S., Inc. in Borger, TX is seeking a Fire Technician III to deliver service inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of fire protection equipment on customer sites, including extinguishers, life-safety systems, gas detection, and related gear.

You will perform field inspections, document results, brief customers, train junior technicians, and support offshore/offsite projects as needed, with travel required and a commitment to safety compliance and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, and other regulatory standards relevant to fire protection work.
• Must hold a valid driver's license and pass driving record checks.
• NICET II or State Fire Licenses; offshore eligibility may be required.
• Experience with fire protection equipment and field service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, maintain, and repair fire equipment including extinguishers and life-safety systems.
• Complete service documentation and obtain customer signatures for invoicing.
• Perform pre-job, job update, and post-job briefs and train customers and junior staff.
• Travel to customer sites, including offshore projects, as needed.
