Job summary

Total Safety is seeking a Fire Technician II to perform service inspection, testing, maintenance and repair for a range of fire protection systems and equipment. The role includes detailed documentation, customer sign-off, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

The position requires knowledge of NFPA and OSHA regulations, ability to work both onshore and offshore as needed, and readiness to obtain and maintain required certifications.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of regulatory standards (State, OSHA, NFPA).
• Familiarity with CFR/Coast Guard/ABS regs if offshore.
• Experience with fire protection systems and equipment installation or maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, testing, maintenance and repair of fire equipment.
• Document inspections and repairs with customer signatures for invoicing.
• Conduct pre-job, in-job, and post-job briefs and reports.
