Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a field service technician to perform inspections, testing, servicing, installation and maintenance of life safety sprinkler systems in accordance with schedules.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of documented experience with sprinkler systems.
• Experience reading blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.
• Proficient with hand tools and multimeters.
• Experience with wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and foam systems.
• Able to perform physical labor and lift 50–70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections and service on life safety product lines.
• Repair and program minor changes under supervision.
• Meet inspection schedule and document findings using laptop or paper.
• Travel as needed and support on-call requirements.
• Maintain safety guidelines at all times.
