Zusammenfassung

e-STORAGE, part of the Canadian Solar family, is seeking a Senior Fire Safety Engineer to ensure safety, compliance, and performance of ESS deployments across the EMEA region. You’ll support product design, track evolving fire safety regulations, and provide project-level technical support across multiple deployment phases.

The role requires deep familiarity with UL 9540, 9540A, NFPA 855, BS and IEC standards, with strong collaboration and documentation skills.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Fire Engineering or related field with fire safety expertise.
• IFireE/MFireE membership or working toward Chartered Engineer status.
• Five+ years of fire safety engineering experience in ESS or related sectors.
• Strong knowledge of UL 9540A, NFPA 855, and BS/IEC standards.
• Experience in large-scale fire testing and risk assessment.

Aufgaben

• Provide fire safety guidance during design of BESS enclosures and ESS.
• Evaluate layouts, fire detection, ventilation for safety.
• Lead review of fire safety test reports and modelling data.
• Support safety validation through UL 9540A and IEC 62933 tests.
• Coordinate with third-party labs and regulatory bodies for compliance.
• Prepare customer due diligence docs like ERP, FRA, HFA, HMA.
