Job summary

Total Safety U.S. Inc. is seeking a Tech IV Fire Technician to perform service inspections, testing, maintenance, and repair of fire protection systems and related equipment both onshore and offshore as required.

You will complete documentation, participate in pre-job and post-job briefs, travel to customer sites, hold licenses (TX Fire Licenses FAL/FEL), NICET II, TWIC, and OSHA 10, and work in a safety-focused team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and at least two years in fire protection or related industry.
• Associate degree in science or technical field preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Performs shop or field inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of fire equipment.
• Completes all inspection/repair documentation and obtains customer signatures.
• Conducts visual inspections and functional tests to identify deficiencies.
• Pre- and post-job briefs; travels to customer sites and offshore projects.
• Maintains a clean, organized work area and supports loading equipment.
