The role requires 5–10 years in the petrochemical fire protection field, a valid RME-I Fire Sprinkler license, and willingness to travel up to 50% of the year. Offshore/onshore work experience is a plus, with OSHA 10 and TWIC considerations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and at least two years of field experience in fire protection, petrochemical, oil refinery or related industry.
• Associate degree in science or technical area strongly preferred.
• Must have Texas State Fire Licenses (FAL/FEL) and pass NICET Level II testing within 12 months of hire date.
• Must be willing to travel 50% of the year.
• Must be able to obtain TWIC card and pass safety testing (e.g., Basic Plus, OSHA 10).

Responsibilities

• Service inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of fire equipment.
• Complete all documentation and obtain customer signature for invoicing.
• Conduct detailed visual inspections and system functional tests; report deficiencies.
• Assist with stocking, loading orders, and maintaining clean work areas.
• Operate electronic safety equipment and wear PPE as required.
• Work onshore and offshore as trained and certified.
