Job summary

Cuhaci & Peterson Architects, Engineers & Planners, Inc. is seeking a licensed Fire Protection/Mechanical Engineer with at least six years of experience. You will perform calculations, layout and design systems per applicable codes, under limited supervision.

You will mentor junior designers, supervise project work, and coordinate with a multi-disciplinary team to meet budget, schedule and quality goals. Excellent communication and leadership are essential for client interactions and design

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Fire Protection or Mechanical Engineering; minimum 6 years experience.
• Must be Professionally licensed in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering calculations and design systems per policies, standards and codes with minimal supervision.
• Apply practical knowledge to resolve project problems and make independent engineering decisions.
