Job summary

Cuhaci & Peterson Architects is seeking a licensed Fire Protection/Mechanical Engineer with a BS in Fire Protection or Mechanical Engineering and at least six years of experience to design and supervise MEP systems for diverse projects in the Ambler area. You will perform calculations, lead project schedules, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring code compliance.

The role emphasizes leadership, client interaction, and collaboration with project teams to deliver high-quality construction

Qualifications

• Requires a BS in Fire Protection or Mechanical Engineering with at least 6 years of work experience.
• Must be professionally licensed in the United States.
• Ability to lead and mentor engineering designers and coordinate with project teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering calculations and design systems per codes with minimal supervision.
• Lead design budgets and schedules with Project Engineer and Project Manager.
• Mentor Engineering designers I-III and review work for accuracy.
• Prepare construction documents and ensure coordination with other disciplines.
