Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. is seeking a Senior Fire Protection Engineer to lead design activities for fire sprinkler, suppression, and life safety projects across multiple markets worldwide.

You will guide a team of engineers and coordinate with multidisciplinary staff on diverse building projects. Ideal candidates hold a PE in the US, with 10+ years of experience and a strong knowledge of NFPA codes, able to travel internationally and domestically as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in fire protection engineering or related discipline.
• PE licensed in any US state with fire protection exam passed.
• Willingness to travel 10–15% to job sites worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Develop and produce drawings and calculations for fire sprinkler systems, suppression, pumps, alarms and life safety code analyses.
• Direct activities of design staff to deliver projects across markets and regions.
