Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Fire Protection Engineer to join our Cities & Places team. You will guide design staff to produce drawings and calculations for fire sprinkler, suppression, and life-safety systems across diverse projects worldwide.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Fire Protection Engineering, 5+ years of experience, and a PE license in progress or obtainable within 12 months. Hybrid work options and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Protection Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• PE in any U.S. state or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• No visa sponsorship required now or in the future to work for Jacobs in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Develop drawings and calculations for fire sprinkler systems, suppression systems, fire pumps, fire alarm and life safety analyses.
• Direct activities of design staff to deliver complete building projects.
• Collaborate across markets and regions to deliver solutions for Jacobs’ Cities & Places business.
