Job summary

Nationwide Realty Investors seeks a Senior Fire Alarm & Low-Voltage Networking Technician Project Coordinator for commercial properties. You will install, maintain, and troubleshoot fire alarm systems and related low-voltage infrastructure to ensure life-safety and reliable building connectivity.

The role requires extensive technical expertise, strong diagnostic and documentation skills, and the ability to coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders on system upgrades and emergency support.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience installing, servicing and troubleshooting commercial fire alarm systems.
  • Strong knowledge of fire alarm networking, panel communications, IP connectivity and system integration.
  • Experience with low-voltage systems including structured cabling, access control, CCTV and related building technologies.
  • Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking, switches, routers, and network troubleshooting.
  • Certifications in fire alarm or related fields are highly valued.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair fire alarm systems and related equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex fire alarm networking and system communication issues.
  • Install and troubleshoot low-voltage systems such as cabling, access control, CCTV, and network infrastructure.
  • Configure and support network-connected life-safety and building technology systems.
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to resolve issues and support upgrades.
  • Document service activities, findings, repairs, configurations, and results.
  • Ensure work complies with fire, electrical, life-safety and building codes.
  • Support emergency service calls and critical outages as needed.
