Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company seeks a Senior Fire Alarm & Low-Voltage Networking Technician Project Coordinator to support commercial properties. The role requires extensive installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of fire alarm and low-voltage systems, with emphasis on reliability and code compliance.

You will coordinate with vendors, property teams, and internal stakeholders on upgrades and life-safety projects.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience installing, servicing, and troubleshooting fire alarm systems.
  • Knowledge of life-safety and building code requirements.
  • Strong documentation and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair fire alarm systems and low-voltage components.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex networking and system communication issues.
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to support system upgrades.
  • Configure and support network-connected life safety and building technology systems.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of service activities, tests, and configurations.
  • Ensure work adheres to NFPA, electrical, life-safety, and building codes.
  • Respond to emergencies and critical system outages as needed.
