Job summary

Control Systems, Inc. seeks an experienced Senior Fire Alarm Technician and System Programmer to install, program, and commission fire alarm and low voltage systems in medium to large commercial buildings.

You will mentor teammates and deliver reliable customer support while ensuring compliance and quality. The role requires strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, low voltage panels, enterprise intrusion systems, and relevant codes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or vocational training required.
• Minimum five years of experience in fire alarm systems and low voltage installations.
• Strong knowledge of intrusion, CCTV, and access control systems.
• Understanding of local and national codes including OSHA/HAZCOM.
• Ability to read and apply national, state, and local construction codes.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, and commission fire alarm and low voltage systems.
• Mentor and coach other team members.
• Provide top-tier customer support and training.
• Test systems and verify signals for compliance.
• Maintain organized inventory and documentation.
• Lead multiple projects and ensure on-time completion.
