Job summary

Bankjoy is seeking a Senior Implementation Manager to lead complex digital banking implementations, core migrations, and product expansions from discovery to go-live and stabilization.

You will own delivery plans, align client and vendor responsibilities, resolve blockers, and mentor Implementation Managers and Specialists in a fast-paced, remote-first environment in the United States and Canada.

Qualifications

• Experience in banking or fintech environments.
• 5+ years in software implementation, onboarding, or technical project management.
• Proven ability to manage multiple client projects, vendors, and scope changes.
• Hands-on configuration in core banking or digital banking platforms.
• Familiar with UAT, cutover planning, and post-launch stabilization.

Responsibilities

• Own complex client implementations from discovery through go-live and stabilization.
• Translate scope into requirements, milestones, and acceptance criteria.
• Lead kickoff meetings, status calls, and clearly explain product constraints to clients.
• Coordinate internal and external teams and dependencies to ensure on-time delivery.
• Configure environments and document client settings, prerequisites, and data needs.
• Maintain plans and weekly status updates, escalate blockers with recovery plans.
• Lead UAT, client training, and defect triage with actionable evidence.
• Coordinate cutover plans, readiness reviews, and go/no-go decisions.
• Handle senior client escalations with clear options and next steps.
• Lead post-launch stabilization and contribute to process improvements.
