Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Solutions Architect to drive deep adoption of AWS within enterprise customers. You will design scalable, resilient cloud architectures and mentor teams while collaborating with AWS Sales and other groups to accelerate cloud migration.

You’ll publish guidance and best practices, present at customer meetings, and influence strategic cloud adoption across diverse industries. This role requires travel and strong technical leadership.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technology domains (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• 3+ years in design, implementation, or consulting for applications and infrastructures.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with business and technical stakeholders as a trusted advisor.
• Lead deep architectural discussions to design world-class AWS solutions.
• Author/edit AWS customer-facing publications and proofs of concept.
• Formulate and execute a sales strategy with the sales team to exceed revenue objectives.
• Build relationships with senior business and technical leaders to drive cloud adoption.
