Job summary

South Atlantic Bank seeks a Financial Reporting Manager to oversee internal and external financial reporting, including SEC filings. You will lead the preparation, review, and disclosure components while ensuring accuracy and a strong control environment.

The role requires CPA license in SC and 5+ years in banking with deep GAAP and SEC knowledge. You will partner with Audit, Risk, and Operations teams to ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Active CPA license in South Carolina required.
• 5+ years banking experience or equivalent preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC/Edgar reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation and review of 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K and other SEC filings.
• Prepare supporting schedules, disclosures, MD&A and footnotes.
• Maintain SOX/FDICIA internal controls and coordinate with auditors.
• Communicate regulatory updates to Bank leadership.
• Provide technical accounting guidance to partners and senior management.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Operations and Risk Management to ensure data accuracy.
